We specialise in the maintenance and leasing of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) at airports. From our Schiphol workshop, we service motorised equipment including push-back trucks, aircraft loaders and air starters on a daily basis. We offer a technically challenging environment where no two days are the same — with short lines, a hands-on culture and a strong focus on safety.
Functie
As a GSE Technician, your primary responsibility is diagnosing and resolving electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults in motorised ground support equipment. You carry out both workshop-based repairs and on-site work airside at the airport. You contribute to refurbishment projects and, once fully onboarded, participate in 24/7 breakdown cover. You report to the workshop supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing GSE faults and determining the right technical solutions
- Performing maintenance and repairs on electrical and hydraulic systems
- Carrying out maintenance on complex motorised GSE
- Disassembling and reassembling components per machine documentation
- Inspecting and approving GSE on functionality, safety (APVK) and durability
- Supporting and coaching junior technicians
- Participating in 24/7 on-call breakdown duties (after onboarding)

What You BringMBO level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field: automotive, mobile machinery, agricultural mechanics, GWW or EBAT
VCA certification (required); NEN 9140 VOP and F-gas certificate are a pre
Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience
English at B1/B2 level; Dutch at native or C1/C2 level
Problem-solving mindset; able to work independently and flexibly
Clean background record — extensive VGB screening required
